Sampling text formatting
Using the Eyedropper tool (
), you can quickly sample type attributes and copy them to
text without creating a style.
1.
Using the Type tool (
), select the text “dressed in your pajamas and slippers” in
the first column of text.

Select the Eyedropper tool ( ) in the Tools panel, and click in the first text “The
Animal Zoo.” A letter “T” appears above the Eyedropper pointer.
The attributes are immediately applied to your selected text, along with the Em-
phasis character style.
