Double-click the Live Paint Bucket tool ( ) in the Tools panel. This opens the
Live Paint Bucket Options dialog box. Select the Paint Strokes option, and then
click OK.
Note
To learn more about the Live Paint Bucket Options dialog box, including
working with Gap Options, search for “Paint with the Live Paint Bucket
tool” in Illustrator Help (Help > Illustrator Help).
Next, you'll remove the inner gray stroke from the shapes and retain the outer strokes.

Select None (
) from the Stroke color in the Control panel. Press the Escape key.
