THINGS TO DO AND SEE
As I already mentioned, Bella Vista has twelve tennis courts, eight lakes, seven golf courses
and many hiking and biking trails throughout the 36,000 acres of Bella Vista's rolling hills.
All of these recreational activities can be accessed as a paid privilege when you rent a vaca-
tion home or townhome from vacation rental companies or an individual property owner.
Cultural activities are available in nearby communities. Broadway productions, exhibits and
other activities are available at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville. View amazing art at
the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in downtown Bentonville. Northwest Arkan-
sas also offers several art galleries, studios and opportunities to see other diverse fine arts.
Shoppers are treated to quality handmade arts and crafts, antiques and fine arts during the
fall and spring craft fairs in Bella Vista, Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers and Springdale.
While you are staying in the area, you can also discover the impressive Veterans Wall of
Honor located between Bella Vista and Bentonville, which pays tribute to the veterans who
gave their lives in military service. The stunning, unique memorial is a circular wall with
4,200 veterans' names on it along with 18 historical flags and cast bronze historical plaques.
While Bella Vista does have many lakes and golf courses, they are not open to the public
at large.
Only property owners and their guests
are allowed to use them. However, if you
stay in one of the many rental condos, you can access these facilities as a guest.

The popular Bella Vista Arts and Crafts Festival is held annually on the third weekend of
October. The proceeds from the Festival go entirely to support the arts, artists and artisans
in Northwest Arkansas.

Simple Pleasures is an Arkansas event center hosting weddings, receptions, parties and cor-
porate events. Simple Pleasures' warm 1930s architecture and 18 park-like acres is a tran-
quil, relaxing setting for indoor and outdoor events.
