In-Depth Information
The Compton Gardens and Conference Center was the home of Dr. Neil Compton who
passed away in 1999. Credited with saving the Buffalo National River, Compton was an
avid naturalist and a local physician. The grounds around the home are now a beautiful
6.5-acre park composed of native woodland gardens. Today, the home/conference center is
available for events, meetings, seminars, retreats, film and photo shoots, and tours.
