Bentonville Itinerary #2
Get up early and eat breakfast at the Village Inn Restaurant, known for its made-from-
scratch buttermilk pancakes and extra friendly service.
Head on over to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and take a guided tour of the
fabulous permanent collection, which is on view year-round. Walmart sponsors FREE gen-
eral admission.
While you are there, take a break from viewing the world-class art and dine at Eleven, the
restaurant within the museum. Eleven features the modern American comfort food found in
the Ozark Mountains, which is the "high South and lower Midwest" region.
In the afternoon, you may be tired from being on your feet, so take a break and a few minutes
rest. Grab some coffee at the Pressroom and drink it on Bentonville Square where there are
many trees and plenty of comfortable places to sit.
For dinner try Table Mesa, a boutique style restaurant featuring multicultural offerings that
make good use of delicious seasonal ingredients. Locals gather at Table Mesa and the staff
is ultra-friendly.
In the evening, make it a point to attend one of the events on the square. First Friday on the
Square occurs on the first Friday of every month from March through November. There are
FREE food samples, live music and tons of unique activities. Vendor booths are set up all
over the square and the crowd is lively. Regardless of where you are from, you will have a
terrific and memorable time.
