Figure 6.9 presents the results of Prony modeling on this same signal made up of
three noisy sinusoids. Again, we realize that the three “lines” are better and better
estimated. The interest of the Prony modeling is to provide a “physical
interpretation” of the model by estimating the modal parameters of the analyzed
signal in terms of frequencies, amplitudes, phases and dampings.
