18. Place a rectangle in the sketch, and use the Horizontal and Vertical
constraints to center the rectangle based on the projected edges.
19. Dimension the rectangle as shown in Figure 8.11.

20. Finish the sketch, and save the fi le.
You'll use this sketch to add some new features to the part. These new features
are unique to plastic parts and, as you'll soon see, very impressive.
Plastic Part Features
In the Model tab are a number of powerful tools grouped together based on their
general purpose. The Plastic Part panel contains six very highly specialized tools.
You'll use only a couple of these tools here; but if you work with plastic parts, you'll
want to devote some signifi cant time to exploring these powerful features.
Grill
In electronics, it's important to allow airfl ow through the housing. The Grill
tool has an incredible number of options, yet it remains easy to use. You con-
struct a grill feature by using a boundary to locate it and adding islands, ribs,
and spars, all of which can have draft added to them at once.
