14. Set the Speed value to 3600 .
15. At the bottom of the dialog, select SKF Series ALS from the list of
families.
16. Click the Calculate button.
A dialog appears, warning you that the calculation may take con-
siderable time.
17. Click Yes to start the calculation.
A rule of thumb for design accelerator dialogs is that no red is
good. This calculation should be fi ne.
18. Switch back to the Design tab.
19. Pick the SKF Series ALS bearing from the list in the lower section of
the dialog, and click OK to generate the physical model of the
bearing.
20. Place one model of the bearing in your assembly, and click the Esc
key to end the command. See Figure 7.3.

21. Use an Insert constraint to place the bearing into the bearing support
assembly. See Figure 7.4.
22. After the bearing is constrained, right-click an open area in the
Design window and select Undo Isolate from the context menu to
turn the other components' visibility back on.
