3. Enter 4 in the dialog to set the number of sides, and move your cur-
sor to the point that is automatically projected for the center of the
sketch. A point on point glyph appears.
4. Click the sketch center to start creating a square.
5. Drag your mouse so the square takes up most of the Design window,
and click again to place your polygon. Don't be alarmed if it's tilted.
6. Start the Horizontal constraint from the Constrain panel, and select
the top edge of your shape.
If you didn't exit the Polygon tool before started the Horizontal
constraint, it's cancelled when you start the new tool. This is typi-
cally the way Inventor works.
7. Add a dimension to the left side of the square, and set its value to
33.7 . See Figure 3.1.

Because you created this part from an Inch template, it isn't neces-
sary to add in. to the end of the value. That is necessary only when
you want a unit of measure that is different from the current one.
