Up to this point, you've used sheet metal features. If you look at the Ribbon,
the Model tab is still available. You can also use regular solid modeling tools for
some purposes while working in a sheet metal component.
One feature that is common to both environments is the Hole feature. Not
only are holes common, but they're also created using a broad variety of tech-
niques. Therefore the Hole dialog has a lot of options.
The Hole Feature
The Hole dialog box, shown in Figure 2.46, is a great example of how many
capabilities can be stuffed into a small, easy-to-navigate interface.
Four groups of options in this dialog box walk you through placing holes on
your model.
