The Mirror Tool
This tool does what it says. If you're familiar with the Mirror command in AutoCAD,
then you're more than half way to understanding how this tool works — although I
think you'll fi nd it's considerably more powerful.
When the tool starts, you see the dialog shown in Figure 2.34. One of the
things users appreciate about Autodesk Inventor is consistency in the dialogs.
You'll notice the red arrows as discussed in Chapter 1; but there are several
other icons we'll discuss.

In placed features that create patterns, you can affect individual features using
this option. This prompts you to select the features that you want to replicate
and then asks for a plane or edges to pattern them by.
