In-Depth Information
In three days we had a day and a half of rain. The second day was sixty miles, a
lengthy stretch for anyone. We rode a solid pace over long intervals, didn't push it speed-
wise, really, but late afternoon passed into early evening and it was nearly dark when
we arrived at our B and B and finally got off our saddles. Now and then she asked to rest,
and now and then I asked. She made it easy for me. We pedal beautifully together.
