Dienh Huynh, who was born in Vietnam and was evacuated from Saigon in 1975, lives in New York City
with his wife and a couple of kids whose Little League teams he coaches. I know this because two years after
we met I walked into a bar in Chelsea and there he was: the bartender. I still see him; he now works at Café
Loup, a well-known bar and restaurant in Greenwich Village, and pours a good, heavy shot of whiskey, if
you're ever in the neighborhood.
