Completely overhauled in recent years, this DNT mountain lodge and hostel at the
Preikestolen trailhead means Preikestolen finally has accommodation worthy of its natural
splendour. There is a range of accommodation for all budgets, including a well-kept hostel
(with breakfast and linen included in the price), stylishly simple lodge rooms and family
cottages.
In summer you can even stay in a hammock slung on a roofed dock by the lakeside at
their B&B Basecamp's 'water camp'. Canoe or walk there along Refsvatn lake - canoe
rental is included in the price and it can be used throughout your stay. Hot breakfasts are
prepared on the campfire.

The closest campsite to Preikestolen (5km, or 1km off the Rv13) is surrounded by forest,
is well run and has good facilities, including a shop-restaurant. They offer helicopter sight-
seeing on Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm (Nkr500 per person).
