)
The two front rooms at this understated, oppulent B&B might be Stavanger's nicest, even
without a sea view. Traditional interiors in this historic house combine dark wood with an-
tique furniture, paintings, Persian rugs and a baby grand in the lounge and dining room.
The large guest rooms are simpler but still have luxury linen, plump cushions and suitably
heavy curtains.
A terrace, underground parking and an attentive host, Wenche Darby, complete the pic-
ture, and it's also super-convenient to the airport bus.

This low-key place offers simple, bright rooms with satellite TV, shower and a smile from
the friendly owners. Packed lunches are available for a small fee and free coffee, tea and
waffles are served nightly.
