is one of the most professional operators of its kind in Norway, offering tandem paraglid-
ing flights (Nkr1500), parasailing (solo/dual flights Nkr575/950) and even 180m-high,
115km/h bungee jumps (Nkr1800) from a parasail! It claims to offer the highest bungee
jump in Europe. As its motto says: 'Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be. No one can
tell the difference'.
KAYAK FJORD EXPEDITIONS
If you do one activity in Voss (or anywhere in the fjords), make it this one. The guided
kayak tours offered by Nordic Ventures are the perfect way to experience Hardangerfjord,
stunning Nærøyfjord and beyond without hurry or crowds. The tours come in a range of
options.
One day (nine-hour) tours cost Nkr995 (including lunch and transport to/from the
fjord), while the two-day version costs Nkr2295 and allows you to camp on the shores of
the fjord. But our favourite is the three-day kayaking and hiking expedition (Nkr3295),
which explores the fjords in kayaks and then takes you high above them for unrivalled
views.
Nordic Ventures rents out kayaks (one/two/three days Nkr550/925/1295) if you'd
rather branch out on your own.
