The helpful Lom tourist office, in the Norwegian Mountain Museum, dispenses advice and
brochures. It also provides free wi-fi access.
Getting There & Away
Three daily Nordfjordekspressen bus services run from Oslo to Lom (Nkr509, 6½ hours).
There are local buses to/from Otta (Nkr129, 1½ hours, six daily). There's also a daily bus
through the Jotunheimen National Park to Sogndal (Nkr250, 3½ hours, two daily) from
late June to the end of August. You'll probably never go on a more impressive bus ride.
