In-Depth Information
Many of the swish, spacious rooms here have memorable river views. It calls itself a
'boutique business hotel' and it has enough going for it in terms of decor and facilities to
earn both titles (including a pool, sauna and on-site restaurant). All that said, it is almost
impossible to get a booking here, it's so popular.

)
It's the giant black-and-white photographs of the town and its environs that first grab the
eye on entering one of the rooms at this well-managed hotel. There are enough other nice
details to take it from being a regular chain hotel to an appealing, if rather overpriced, op-
tion.

The menu here is a light and healthy escape from the rigours of burgers and hot dogs. The
owners will happily pack your sushi up for you to take away for a riverside picnic.

This upmarket, rather old-fashioned restaurant surprises with the odd spot-on dish and is
complemented by a pleasant pub-cum-cafe where casual meals are available. In the warm-
er months music in the courtyard is a regular occurrence. Note that the opening hours are a
little 'flexible'!
