Down on the waterfront inside the big white timber building. Staff run guided tours of the
town every Wednesday and Friday in July at 1pm (adult/child Nkr100/free).
Getting There & Away
The Grimstad Rutebilstasjon is on Storgata at the harbour, though some buses only stop up
at the highway, rather than coming into town. Nor-Way Bussekspress buses between Oslo
(Nkr400, 4½ hours) and Kristiansand (Nkr220, one hour) call at Grimstad three to five
times daily. Nettbuss' Timekspressen buses run to/from Arendal once or twice hourly
(Nkr73, 30 minutes).

Between Kristiansand and Arendal, lovely Lillesand has a pedestrian-only whitewashed
village centre full of second-hand shops and cafes, along with a stunning circular harbour.
