This private art museum contains works by Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso, as well as assor-
ted impressionist, abstract, expressionist and modern Norwegian works. There's a free bus
from the Thon Hotel near the Opera House to the museum every half-hour in summer; oth-
erwise take bus 151 to Høvikodden.
Activities
Avid skiers, hikers and sailors, Oslo residents will do just about anything to get outside.
That's not too hard given that there are over 240 sq km of woodland, 40 islands and 343
lakes within the city limits.
