Release notes and API diffs
Release notes are short summaries of the new features and changes in an OS update. API diffs are a more formal
list of changes that detail new classes added, old classes removed, and changed features within each class. API
diffs are more useful, but it's worth reviewing both before you begin working with an OS update. Figure 6.10
shows part of a typical API diff file.

od that has changed.
