In-Depth Information
In the heart of Inari, this has modernised, spacious rooms with good showers. Slightly
cheaper 'small doubles' have two beds end-to-end. A modern annexe behind has top
rooms, all modish greys and blacks with sauna and lovely lake views. The restaurant
serves pizzas and reasonable local fish and reindeer dishes (mains €10 to €20). Watch the
amazing sun at these latitudes out the windows.
Villa Lanca GUESTHOUSE
( 040-748-0984; www.villalanca.com ;s/d €63/85, incl kitchen €80/105; )
On the main road through town, this is a very characterful lodging, with original rooms
that are full of atmosphere and decorated with Asian fabrics, feather charms and real artist-
ic flair. The cute attic rooms are spacious and cheaper but lack a bit of headroom. An ex-
cellent breakfast with delicious homemade bread is included. It's a great place to learn
about Sámi culture and stories.
