Kiilopää
Kiilopää, 17km southeast of Saariselkä, is the best launchpad for hiking in the Saariselkä
Wilderness; marked trails head directly into the wilderness from here. The Saariselkä-
Kiilopää hiking map (€3) gives you a wealth of day-walk options. Short walks from here
include the boardwalked ascent of Kiilopää fell (one hour return), rewarded by great
views.
