One of the few summer options, this has a cosy wooden interior and welcoming service. It

Off the main road 2.5km south of Saariselkä, this cute wooden hut serves up good-value
lunches. It's well worth booking in for dinner though, when the game-oriented mains
might included woodpigeon or elk fillet.

This smart spot sits behind the rainbow screen on the main street and offers a sumptuous
nine-course degustation menu with typical Lapland ingredients beautifully served, with the
option of matching wines. It's quite modern molecular in style, and there's a minimalist,
formal, designer feel. During the day it opens as a cafe and boutique, also open in the sum-
mer months.
