ROVANIEMI ADVENTURES
Rovaniemi is great for winter and summer activities, offering frequent departures with
multilingual guides.
In summer, activities include guided walks, mountain biking (€55 to €70), river cruises
(€30), visiting reindeer or huskies (€50 to €90), rafting, canoeing, moose-watching and
wilderness camping.
Winter activities include snowmobiling (€100 to €170 for a two- to six-hour trip), snow-
shoeing (€55), reindeer-sledding (€100 to €130), husky-sledding (€75 to €250), cross-
country skiing (€50 to €60), ice-fishing, aurora-watching, overnighting in a wilderness
hut or a combination. All prices are based on two people sharing a snowmobile/sled;
you'll pay up to 50% more if you want one all to yourself. You need a driving licence to op-
erate a snowmobile.
