Smoked salmon - served whole with potato gratin, in salads, and in creamy smoked sal-
mon soup - is the speciality of this stocked salmon-fishing pond and smokery's waterside
restaurant. If you want to catch your own, rod-and-reel rental is €15. Any fish you land
costs €16 per kg; smoking is €3 per fish and takes an hour.

Overlooking the dunes, Lokkilinna has a fantastic summer terrace perfect for a beer and
pizza (toppings range from smoked reindeer to snails), accompanied by regular live music.
It's a large place with an attached hotel (some rooms with balconies and ocean views;
doubles €120 to €140) but retains a charming family feel.
