This small, super-friendly riverside campground is 2km north of the town centre at the har-
bour. Cabins and amenities have been recently refitted and the brand-new apartments have
terraces looking onto the water.

Right on the central square, this is Kokkola's best hotel (admittedly competition is minim-
al). Staff are immensely helpful, and facilities are good; light sleepers should ask for a
room away from the restaurant-nightclub.

Inside a timber town house dating from 1831, this elegant affair often serves dishes with a
French accent such as fresh asparagus and lime hollandaise, sirloin with port jus and

Contemporary and stylish Kaavya, Kokkola's first (and only) Indian restaurant, is a town
