In a rustic brickwork interior warmed by animal skins, seasonally changing dishes might
include fried whitefiish with champagne sauce, roast reindeer with juniper sauce and
mushroom croquettes, or polenta with truffles and spiced vegetables. As you'd expect
from a place named for the Greek god of boozing, the wine cellar is exceptional.

Right on the water, this perennial favourite in a 19th-century pavilion serves top-end meals
inside and affordable burgers et al on its terrace. In summer staff keep the outdoor bar
pumping until late.

A former coal cellar is home to one of Finland's best restaurants, newly split into a casual
gastropub with by-the-glass wines and on-tap Finnish beers, and an intimate candlelit fine-
dining space serving sublime seven-course tasting menus. Cooking courses are available;
you can also order food for its adjacent sauna (sauna €250, plus per person €6; sauna buf-
fets €25 to €36).
