Juurella MODERN FINNISH
( 06-414-0720; www.juurella.fi ;Keskustori 1;mains €14-28; 4-10pm Tue-Fri, 2-10pm Sat)
Seasonal local organic produce is utilised by Juurella's award-winning chefs to create mas-
terpieces like beef with juniper-berry sausage, forest-mushroom pancakes, and perch with
cauliflower and peas. Don't by fooled by the descriptions' simplicity: 'carrot cake', for ex-
ample, is a symphony of spiced cake in warm carrot soup with a crispy deep-fried carrot
wafer and cool carrot sorbet. Seriously, wow.
