Joensuu is a transport hub for North Karelia.
TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
The airport is 11km west of central Joensuu. A bus service (one way €5) departs from the
bus station (50 minutes before plane departures) and the corner of Koskikatu and Kaup-
pakatu (45 minutes before departures). A taxi ( 060-110-100) costs €20.
AIR
Finnair ( www.finnair.com ) operates several flights a day between Helsinki and Joensuu.
BUS
