This cosy Savonlinna classic was built in the 1930s and maintains that period's elegance.
The rooms are stylish, although beds are narrow and bathrooms small; larger family rooms
are available. Balconies cost a little extra. There's a pleasant terrace and orchard-garden
with access to a small beach. Opera atmosphere is great with a midnight buffet, but rates
rise (single/double €130/155): book eons in advance.
