Getting There & Away
There are 24-hour coin-operated luggage lockers (€3 to €5) at the ferry terminal.
The airport is 4km northwest of the city centre.
Viking and Tallink/Silja ferries dock at the ferry terminal at Västerhamn (West Har-
bour). The guest harbour for small boats is at Österhamn (East Harbour). The harbours are
linked by the long, tree-lined Storagatan.
Regional buses depart from the bus station opposite the post office; the tourist office has
timetables.
Getting Around
Local bus routes (€2) depart from Nygatan, outside the post office.
Hire cars from the friendly RBS Biluthyrning ( GOOGLE MAP ; 018-525-505;
www.rundbergs.com ; Strandgatan 1) at the St1 garage petrol station opposite Mariebad. Rates
for small cars start at around €65 per day. Delivery within Mariehamn is free. Book well in
advance during summer.
