Cruises run up to three times weekly from Tervasaari guest harbour to the old fishing vil-
lage on the island of Tammio (adult/child €20/10, three to four hours). Island cruises also
run up to five times weekly further south to Ulko-Tammio (adult/child €25/10, five hours),
within the boundaries of the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park.

Every even-numbered year in late July or early August, Hamina celebrates military music
during the week-long Hamina Tattoo, featuring not only Finnish and Russian military
marching bands, but rock, jazz and dance music.
