Summer cruises leave from Porvoo's passenger quays for the archipelago and elsewhere;
cruising here by boat from Helsinki is the nicest way to arrive. Departure times vary, so

This noble old steamship cruises from Helsinki's kauppatori to Porvoo (adult one way/re-
turn €27/39, daily except Thursday) in summer and makes an excellent day trip, with vari-
ous lunch options available. The trip takes 3½ hours each way, so you may prefer to return
by bus.
