Sleepyhead Day CULTURAL
On 27 July Naantali eccentrically elects a 'Sleepyhead of the Year', who is woken early by
being tossed into the sea. A carnival with music, dancing and games ensues.

former Finnish president PE 'Ukko-Pekka' Svinhufvud) has gorgeous period-furnished
rooms in champagne and chocolate hues, some with patios or balconies. Double-storey
apartments include full kitchens. Parents can watch the kids romp in the playground from
the umbrella-shaded terrace.
