€3 when purchased on board or €2.50 when purchased in advance. The ticket allows un-
limited transfers but must be validated at the machine on board on first use. A single tram
ticket is €2.20 advance purchase. Order any of these tickets for €2.40 using your Finnish
SIM card: send an SMS to 16355 texting A1. Day or multiday tickets (per 24/48/72 hours
€8/12/16, tickets up to seven days available) are worthwhile. The Helsinki Card gives you
free travel anywhere within Helsinki.
Sales points at Kamppi bus station and the Rautatientori and Hakaniemi metro stations
sell tickets and passes, as do many R-kioskis and the tourist office. The
