HELSINKI CARD
gives you free travel, entry to more than 50 attractions in and around Helsinki, and dis-
counts on day tours to Porvoo and Tallinn. It's cheaper online; otherwise, get it at the
tourist office, hotels, R-kioskis or transport terminals. To make it worthwhile, you'd need
to pack lots of sightseeing into a short time.
Central Helsinki
cruises and ferries leave for archipelago islands. It's completely touristy these days, with
reindeer souvenir stands having replaced most market stalls, but there are still some berries
and flowers for sale, and adequate cheap food options.
