Worth considering as an alternative to Aviemore - particularly as a skiing base
- CARRBRIDGE is a pleasant, quiet village about seven miles north. Look out for the
spindly Bridge of Carr at the northern end of the village, built in 1717 and still making
a graceful stone arch over the River Dulnain.

families a host of excellent outdoor and indoor activities including forest walks, nature
trails, water fun rides and a vertiginous wooden tower with 360-degree views of the
surrounding mountains.
