additional case scenarios were performed based on the objective functions described
in section 5.2. These six cases showcase the attributes of the coordination program
developed; Table 6.2 describes a summary of the different simulations performed in
this research work; these are:
Case 1 : Represents the reference case in which the energy networks are assessed
without DER technologies; in this study no optimisation is performed;
Case 2 : Represents the plug-and-forget scenario in which PHEVs charge in a
'continuous' manner (refer to subsection 4.4.1) while the CHPs operate under a
heat-led strategy;
