In-Depth Information
9.
If you have configured this connection request policy to forward connection requests to
a remote server in step 6, or if users will be connecting to this server via an ISP (step 7),
you will see the Realm Name screen next. Specify the realm name that should be used to
identify incoming connections. This can be in the form of a prefix, such as DOMAIN\
user1 , or in the form of user1@domain . If the realm name is an identifier, that is added to
the existing Windows username so that Windows can authenticate the request. In that
case, place a check mark next to Before Authentication, Remove the Realm Name from
the User Name.
10.
If you chose to have authentication requests forwarded to a remote server in step 6,
select the appropriate name from the Server Group drop-down list, or click New Group
to configure a new RADIUS group (see Recipe 6-10).
11.
Click Next to continue.
12.
Click Finish to create a new connection request policy.
13.
If there are multiple policies configured for the IAS server, right-click the policy and
select Move Up or Move Down as necessary to place it in the desired processing order.
