6-6. Managing RADIUS Clients
Problem
You want to add or delete a RADIUS client on your IAS server, or modify the configuration of an
existing RADIUS client.
Solution
Using a Graphical User Interface
To create a new RADIUS client, do the following:
1.
Open the IAS MMC snap-in.
2.
Right-click RADIUS Clients and click New RADIUS Client.
3.
In the Friendly Name text box, enter the name of the client as it will be displayed in the
IAS MMC snap-in.
4.
In the Client Address (IP Address or DNS Name) text box, enter either the numeric
IP address or the FQDN of the client.
5.
In the Client-Vendor drop-down box, enter the name of the vendor of the RADIUS
client software.
