Solution
1.
Start the Routing and Remote Access Services administrative console from the
Administrative Tools folder in the Start menu, or directly from %systemroot%\system32\
rrasmgmt.msc .

If your server is not already listed in the console, add it by right-clicking Routing and
Remote Access in the left pane and selecting Add Server. Select the first option, This
Computer.
Note If you are enabling RRAS on a remote server, you can add those servers to this console by selecting
The Following Computer, All Routing and Remote Access Servers, or Browse Active Directory rather than This
Computer.

Right-click on the server name in the left pane, and select Configure and Enable Routing
and Remote Access.

Click the Next button when the Routing and Remote Access Server Setup Wizard starts.
5.
Select the Virtual Private Network (VPN) Access and NAT option. Click the Next button
to proceed.
6.
Select the network interface that connects this server to the Internet. Optionally, enable
security on the interface by selecting the check box to set up a basic firewall. Click the
Next button to proceed.
7.
Select the network interface to which you want remote VPN clients to have access. Click
the Next button to proceed.
8.
Select the method that you want to use to assign addresses to VPN clients. You choose
to use DHCP or a specified range of addresses. Click the Next button to proceed.
9.
If you chose to use a specified range of addresses in the previous step, create the range
now. You can create multiple noncontiguous ranges. Click the Next button to proceed.
10.
Select the network interface on the internal or private network that contains the clients
that require access to the Internet. Click the Next button to proceed.
11.
If you have multiple remote access servers, you can configure your remote access server
to interact with a RADIUS server for authentication purposes. Specify whether you
want to use a RADIUS server in this step. Click the Next button to proceed.
12.
If you enabled RADIUS authentication in the previous step, provide the name or IP
address of the RADIUS server as well as a shared secret here. Click the Next button
to proceed.
13.
Click the Finish button to complete the wizard.
