4-2. Starting and Stopping the Routing
and Remote Access Service
Problem
You want to start or stop Routing and Remote Access Services.
Solution
Using a Graphical User Interface
1.
Start the Services control panel applet from the Administrative Tools folder in the
Start menu.
2.
Select the Routing and Remote Access Services.
3.
Select the Action menu, and then select the option to start, stop, or restart the service,
whichever is appropriate.
Using a Command-Line Interface
To start RRAS, type the following in the command window:
> net start remoteaccess
