Note
You have two other project templates that you can use to create tabular
models. They are as follows:
•
Import from PowerPivot
: This option imports a model that has been cre-
ated previously using the PowerPivot Excel add-in. This allows an end-
user-created model to be turned into a IT-maintained model without re-
building the model.
•
Import from Server (Tabular)
: Using this option you can import a model
that resides on the server to the development environment to continue
the development.
