values from Europe. You also need to be aware that if you do not use the Sales
Territory dimension in the query, all information will be seen. You can see this by
executing the following query:

To solve this, you can use a function called Visual Totals , which you will do in the
following section.
Enable Visual Totals to restrict what a user can
see
If you want to only show data related to the allowed members in the role, you can
add a selection called Visual Totals. This is something that can be done by perform-
ing the following steps:
1. Double click on the Europe Reader.role file and click on the Dimension
Data tab.
2. Check the Enable Visual Totals checkbox.
