9. As you can see, you now have the choice to connect to the perspective, so
select Simple Perspective and click on Finish .
10. Choose to create a PivotTable report and click on OK .
11. It is observed that you can only see the objects that you selected in the cre-
ation of the perspective.
Perspectives are an effective way of structuring your Analysis Services databases
and cubes in order to make them easier to work with as an end user. You can control
the visibility of the following objects using a perspective:
• Dimensions
• Attributes
• Hierarchies
• Measure groups
• Measures
• KPIs
• Calculated members
• Named sets
