KPIs. A
Key Performance Indicator

KPI
) in Analysis Services is a special type of
calculation that contains both the goal and trend calculation values. To add a KPI to
your cube follow these steps:
1. Double-click on the
Adventure Works DW2012.cube
cube in the
Solution
Explorer
.
2. Click on the
KPI
tab in the designer and then click on the
New KPI
button.
3. Name the KPI as
Internet Sales KPI
.
4. The value of
Associated measure group
should be set to
Fact Internet
Sales
