trips, departing Mondays and travelling via Mývatn and
Askja, from early July until mid-August. Tours cost

include lengthy hikes.
By car
Kverkfjöll sits at the southern end of the F903 and
F902, accessed either off the F88 from near Askja, or west
off Route F910 from Kárahnúkar (see p.280).
