From Þjórsárdalur, Route 32 winds up around the
back of Búrfell and then crosses the Þjórsá; bear northeast
here in a four-wheel-drive for the F26 across Sprengisandur
(p.309), or southwest on Route 26 for routes past Hekla to
Landmannalaugar (four-wheel-drive only) or back to the
Ringroad via Leirubakki (p.114).
