There are two ways to open the Profile View
panel. The first is to click the Profile View icon
on the Review toolbar, as shown in Figure 2-29 .

Profile Terminology
Familiarizing yourself with the following
terms will be helpful as you work with design
profiles:
Tangent The straight-line portions of a
profile
Point of vertical intersection (PVI)
The location where two tangents intersect
